Throughout your life, whenever you are down or sad of a certain problem, people around you will try to comfort you with some words. Two of the most famous words said in these situations are:
1- Look at the bright side!
2- See the glass half full!
Well I assure you that these two sentences won’t ever be useful when you don’t even see the glass!! ….
But to be honest they both let me think about an unexplainable issue!? … You know sometimes, when people are in difficulties … they manage to get through them... and get themselves out even much stronger... & you know what?? They do so without these commonly thought magical words.
Sometimes you do need to look at the dark side in order to reach the bright one. Most often you have to know that the glass is empty, and begin to fill it.
If we started thinking, we will find out that most of the things we use now were discovered not because the whoever did it felt that life is pinky and perfect, in the contrary, it’s because he knew things were missing, he saw the dark side and decided to paint it bright.
So whenever you have a problem at work, issues at home or even just some little difficulties with your life, have a look at the bright side but never ignore the dark one.
The "Half Full" is there to let you know God is always there by your side and that the glass will never be fully empty, on the other hand, the "Half empty" is what brings out the strength in you, it’s what makes you challenge yourself that every difficulty you are facing is going to be defeated.
" B+ "… Consider both the dark and the bright are important together to complete the whole picture. If you only focused on one side, you’re going to miss beauty in the painting. Looking too much at the bright will make you a negative person who doesn’t develop and just stand Handicapped in his place, while focusing too much at the empty half will leave you stressed, nervous and pessimistic.
Remember God created the world with good moments and bad ones & God knows we can perfectly handle both ♥
So next time when someone asks you to stop seeing the Glass as half empty?
Tell them “What empty half you are talking about?
I enjoyed drinking the full half while thanking god for it, and now I’m starting to refill the glass, making sure I would reach the maximum without forgetting to intentionally leave part of the glass empty to always be my starting point to another REFILL” ;))
